A native of Los Angeles, Anita started performing at age four, playing the violin but it was at age 10 that she found her voice.
She became the youngest member of the Golden West Opera Company, playing the roles of Papagena in the "Magic Flute", Cherubino in "The Marriage of Figaro" and "Sandfairy" in Hansel and Gretel.

Shortly after moving to New York last year, Anita was cast in the workshop production of "Zorro" the new Gypsy Kings musical and is now starring in "Eva Del Barrio, Isabel Rising", as Isabel at the Roy Arias Theater. Anita can also be seen in the upcoming production "Around the World in 80 Days" as the lead role of "Auda" at the Fulton Opera House in Lancaster PA.

An accomplished vocalist, Anita was a three time winner in the Opera division of the Southwestern Music festival, a finalist in the LA Music Center Spotlight awards, and a winner of the NATS competition.
